‘Fever Brain’ is the debut single from LA-based singer-songwriter Luke Wild. Its dreamy atmosphere is complemented by the subtle electronics which shift around beneath his airy voice and acoustic guitar. The bouncy electronic percussion juxtaposes his delicate acoustic guitar chords. He forms interesting soundscapes using reversed, reverb heavy instruments and his own voice, while catchy melodies are to be found in spades throughout. His inspirations range from Frank Ocean to Elvis, while his lyrics are hazy and introspective. For a debut single, this is a very impressive venture with a lot more still to come. - Dan Peeke
